Peningkatan Pemahaman Ibu Hamil tentang Bahaya KEK melalui Edukasi Gizi Seimbang di Ohoi Ohoitel Kota Tual

Nutrisi seimbang dengan kecukupan zat gizi dan energi merupakan kunci penting untuk kesehatan ibu dan janin dalam masa kehamilan. kekurangan gizi dan energy selama kehamilan dapat berdampak kurang baik terhadap kesehatan ibu hamil, juga keselamatan janin. Kegiatan pengadian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada ibu hamil tentang pentingnya gizi seimbang selama kehamilan dan bahaya kurang energi kronis bagi kesehatan ibu dan janin. Ohoi Ohoitel merupakan salah satu ohoi di Kota Tual yang memiliki banyak ibu hamil dengan kurang energi protein (23,5% dari keseluruhan ibu hamil di Ohoi tersebut). Tim pengadian kepada masyarakat melalui kolaborasi dengan puskesmas Ohoitahit, kader kesehatan Ohoi Ohoitel dan kepala Ohoi Ohoitel memberikan penyuluhan kesehatan kepada Ibu hamil. Penyuluhan kesehatan menekankan pemilihan bahan makanan lokal yang dihasilkan masyarakat setempat untuk diolah dan disajikan guna memenuhi kebutuhan gizi ibu hamil dan keluarga. Penyuluhan kesehatan berlangsung dengan baik, dan terdapat 90% peningkatan pemahaman ibu hamil. Tindak lanjut kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini akan dilaksanakan oleh kader kesehatan dan puskesmas Ohoitahit
