Peningkatan Partisipasi Siswa SMA Negeri 2 Parepare di Ruang Digital dalam Merespons Degradasi Lingkungan

Program pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan partisipasi siswa SMAN 2 Parepare dalam merespons degradasi lingkungan melalui pemanfaatan ruang digital. Metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) diterapkan pada 25 siswa kelas XI dan XII melalui workshop edukasi lingkungan digital yang mengintegrasikan konsep sosiologi lingkungan dengan realitas lokal Parepare. Program mencakup pemaparan materi tentang krisis lingkungan, peran generasi Z sebagai agen perubahan, teknik dokumentasi digital, dan kerangka ENGAGE (Educate-Network-Generate-Amplify-Go Offline-Evaluate) untuk aksi lingkungan sistematis. Evaluasi menggunakan pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pemahaman peserta dari skor rata-rata 5,8 menjadi 9,2 (skala 10). Transformasi paradigma terjadi dari konsumen informasi pasif menjadi kreator konten yang aktif, dengan 80% peserta melaporkan peningkatan kepercayaan diri membuat konten lingkungan dan 56% telah merumuskan rencana aksi konkret. Program berhasil menjembatani kesenjangan antara pengetahuan teoretis dan aplikasi praktis, membuktikan bahwa siswa SMA sebagai digital natives memiliki potensi besar menjadi agen perubahan lingkungan ketika dibekali pengetahuan tepat dan kerangka aksi sistematis, berkontribusi pada pencapaian target pembangunan berkelanjutan Kota Parepare.
