Pengembangan Kurikulum Pendidikan Dasar Berbasis Proyek P5 sebagai Inovasi Pendidikan

This research examines the creation of a primary education curriculum utilizing the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) as an educational innovation aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum. The research is initiated by the background need for primary schools to have a learning system that shifts focus away from academic scores toward strengthening pupils' personalities based on Pancasila values. This study's goal is to investigate the role of P5 in supporting contextual project-based learning and developing character and 21st-century skills at the primary education level. The technique employed is a qualitative method that makes use of a literature review. Data sources were gathered by analyzing ten relevant national journal articles focusing on P5 implementation, curriculum development, and educational innovations. Data were then analyzed by identifying major themes: curriculum planning, learning processes, student engagement, and implementation challenges in schools. The findings show that the P5-based curriculum significantly enhances students' active involvement, creativity, teamwork, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. But there are still a lot of issues with the implementation, such as low teacher understanding of the concept,restricted infrastructure and facilities, insufficient time, and immature Planning a project. Overall, developing a P5-based primary education curriculum holds immense potential as an innovation that balances knowledge, character, and 21st-century skills. Therefore, continuous teacher training, more structured planning, and comprehensive support from educational institutions are urgently required to ensure that Effective and significant implementation of P5 is possible.
